Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Dupee
Welcome to my website and our mathematics exploration!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Gerri Dupee.
This is my 31st year in education (my 8th at GHS) and I am excited to share
the art and beauty that is mathematics. (Really, there is art to it!) Previously, I have taught middle,
high school and some college mathematics in Nashville, Los Angeles and Indiana.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Ashland University, a Masters in Education from MTSU
in School Counseling, (My first 6 years here at Greenbrier were as a School Counselor!) and post grad work
in mathematics education from UCLA.
Mathematics is more than formulas and rules of operations. It is a masterful training ground
for quantitative, statistical and mathematical reasoning used in every aspect of your life.
Training your mind to think - constructively and creatively and to problem solve
are highly sought after skills for employment, in every trade.
Mathematics is a language used to describe our world and knowing how to work with that language will enhance your exploration of the intricate tapestry that is the world we live in. What an amazing world to explore!
So... to continue your exploration in this year's math training, you will find information for your classes in the links
to the left. Always, check the Microsoft Team in your class for the most current and complete assignment information and resources and do not hesitate to contact me with questions you may have at [email protected]
Get ready to explore the fascinating world of mathematics!
(Arrays of patterns everywhere!)
